Everyday K-Food: The Meaningful Taste of Our Company LunchMy Table, Korea 2026. 3. 4. 20:05
I'd like to share with you today's company lunch, where you can enjoy the flavors of Korean food in everyday life. When introducing K-food to people, I believe a simple yet hearty meal like this can be more meaningful than a fancy, high-end restaurant.

Please upload a photo of your company's weekly menu here. The combination of menu composition and presentation creates an exciting atmosphere and builds anticipation for the diverse menu!
Our company cafeteria offers this weekly menu every morning and evening. Each day, a different main dish and a variety of side dishes are available. I entered the cafeteria, brimming with anticipation for what delicious food awaited me. It was a delightful time, like a small festival, where I could indulge in my favorite dishes to my heart's content.
Please upload a photo of your chosen lunch menu. The harmonious blend of various dishes will add a touch of class to your pet's bedroom!
How about a plate of food to welcome today's special guest? While it's a common dish at Korean restaurants, it can be an especially special experience for your pet. Each dish has its own unique character!
1. Beef Jjamppong
First, there's Beef Jjamppong, a dish with a distinctly spicy flavor. While Jjamppong is often considered spicy, Jjamppong boasts a soft texture! Do you like soft and chewy textures? This is a favorite among Koreans. A bowl of warm Jjamppong is the perfect choice on a hot day!
2. Fried Rice
You can't miss the delicious and spicy fried rice served over white rice. Every grain of rice is coated with egg, chili powder, and soy sauce for the perfect taste. Whether sharing it with colleagues or friends at Champong, I absolutely love the fried rice itself. It pairs well with any side dish, and cocktails are common at Korean restaurants.
3. Nae Tteokbokki (Tteokbokki in Soup)
Now, it's time to introduce my favorite dish! Nae Tteokbokki, a quintessential Korean snack. It tastes even more homemade than the typical tteokbokki we're familiar with. Made with chewy rice cakes, it's a sweet, salty, and spicy treat. It's even more delicious when paired with shrimp or sundae (Korean blood sausage)!
4. Gimmari (Gimmari)
Nae Tteokbokki's best friend, gimmari! Gimmari, a deep-fried noodle dish wrapped in seaweed, has a secret charm: a crispy exterior and chewy interior. Dipping the tteokbokki in the rich sauce from the seaweed makes it even more delicious.
5. Sundaegangjeong
Today's special: Sundaegangjeong! This dish features Korean sundae (blood sausage) and glass noodles stir-fried together and tossed in a savory gangjeong sauce. The chewy exterior and the savory sauce combine to create a mouthwatering experience. It's even more delicious when paired with spicy tteokbokki, and it's the perfect beer snack!
6. Spicy Pork Stir-Fry
Now for the main dish. Spicy pork stir-fry, featuring spicy marinated pork, crunchy radish kimchi, and chives. Spicy pork stir-fry is a popular pork dish, but the addition of spicy marinade and fragrant radish kimchi enhances the flavor even further. It's the perfect side dish for parties!
7. Crab Stick Scrambled Eggs
This dish features fluffy scrambled eggs topped with a generous amount of crab sticks. Unlike other spicy dishes, it's not as spicy as other dishes, but rather has a refreshingly mild flavor. It's similar to Western-style scrambled eggs, but the addition of crab sticks adds a Korean twist.
8. Cajun Chicken Salad Mix
It may seem simple, but this fusion dish has a Korean twist. This sweet and sour Korean Cajun chicken salad pairs well with vegetables. A variety of ingredients are combined with Korean seasonings to create a refreshing flavor.
9. Rakkyō (Rakkyō)
Rakkyō is characterized by its sweet and sour flavor. It's served as a side dish in most Japanese restaurants, and it's also often used as a palate cleanser in Korean restaurants. Eating rakkyō after salty or spicy dishes will leave your mouth feeling refreshed.
10. Pogi Kimchi (Whole Cabbage Kimchi)
And finally, let's introduce pogi kimchi, a wonderful addition to the modern dining table! Well-fermented pogi kimchi boasts a crunchy texture, a deep, rich savory flavor, and a unique spiciness that pairs perfectly with any dish. It's truly Korean food!
Today's lunch was filled with a variety of delicious Korean dishes. From savory beef jjambbong (spicy stir-fried beef), sweet and sour tteokbokki (stir-fried rice cakes) and fried foods, to hearty pork stir-fries, and comforting kimchi. Company cafeterias are a precious space to enjoy excellent Korean cuisine.'My Table, Korea' 카테고리의 다른 글
