March 10, A Feast of Exotic Flavors! Today's LunchMy Table, Korea 2026. 3. 10. 15:15
Today's lunch seems to have been a special experience, allowing a taste of various Southeast Asian dishes in one sitting. Although a few dishes had minor drawbacks, overall, it was an appealing menu offering exotic flavors. I look forward to discovering what new culinary world unfolds next time!

- Nasi Goreng Fried Rice: An undeniable bestseller in Southeast Asian cuisine! The Boss commented, "I like it, but today it was a bit oily." While the savory aroma and diverse ingredients are always appealing, sometimes the oiliness can be a slight drawback. We look forward to a lighter version next time.
- Pho (Vietnamese Rice Noodles): This dish received high praise: "The broth was good, and the bean sprouts and meat were excellent." It sounds like a perfect meal with its warm, rich broth, crunchy bean sprouts, and tender meat. The comforting charm of pho is always a top choice.
- Pizza Spring Rolls: A unique twist with pizza-flavored spring rolls appeared today. The Boss frankly shared the opinion, "I prefer regular spring rolls." While pizza-infused spring rolls might have been an interesting attempt, those who favor the classic crispy and savory taste of traditional spring rolls might find them a bit disappointing.
- Jjukkumi Jeyuk-bokkeum (Spicy Stir-fried Webfoot Octopus and Pork): A dish combining spicy and sweet stir-fried pork with chewy webfoot octopus! The remark, "There wasn't much octopus, so I thought there would be octopus just by looking at the menu name," suggests a slight disappointment. A more generous portion of octopus would have made this dish even more satisfying. We hope to see more octopus next time.
- Don Yuk Gong Chae Bokkeum (Pork and Morning Glory Stir-fry): A morning glory stir-fry, often seen in Southeast Asian dishes. The Boss rated it as "adequately seasoned with soy sauce, but the morning glory was too big." While the balanced flavor of the soy sauce seasoning was good, the large size of the morning glory might have made the texture less enjoyable. If cut into bite-sized pieces, it would likely be a more pleasant experience.
- Yam Woon Sen Salad (Thai Glass Noodle Salad): The refreshing Thai glass noodle salad, Yam Woon Sen, received a "so-so" rating. It sounds like it offered a decent and fresh taste that could be enjoyed without strong opinions.
- Garlic Scape and Rakkyo Kimchi: The Boss gave an amusing review, "I thought it was garlic, but it was rakkyo." This pickled rakkyo (a type of onion) with its unique aroma and taste seems to have been a distinctive side dish fitting the Southeast Asian menu.
- Pogi Kimchi (Whole Cabbage Kimchi): Our familiar Pogi Kimchi, which pairs well with any meal, was described as "regular cabbage kimchi." It must have been a comforting and hearty presence among the exotic dishes.
