    My Table, Korea 2026. 4. 2. 15:23

    오늘은 2026년 4월 2일, 경기도 하남에 바람이 꽤 많이 불었습니다. 차가운 바람에도 따뜻한 한국 음식은 언제나 제격이죠! 하지만 오늘은 역시 회사 구내식당에서 점심을 먹었는데 오늘은 전반적으로 별로였어요

     

    Today is April 2, 2026, and it was quite windy in Hanam, Gyeonggi-do. Warm Korean food is always the perfect choice, even in a cold wind! However, as usual, I had lunch at the company cafeteria today, and overall, it wasn't very good.

     

     

    오늘 먹은 메뉴 / Today's Menu

    흑미밥 : Black Rice (Heukmi-bap)
    요즘은 역시 흑미를 선택해요. 일반 백미보다 고소하고 영양도 더 좋아요.
    I always go for black rice these days. It’s nuttier and more nutritious than regular white rice.

    들깨수제비국 : Perilla Seed Sujebi Soup (Deulkkae Sujebi-guk)
    들깨는 많이 들어있었는데, 솔직히 수제비가 좀 너무 딱딱하고 질겼어요.
    The perilla seeds were generous, but I have to be honest — the handmade dough flakes (sujebi) were a bit too hard and chewy today.

    국물떡볶이 : Tteokbokki in Broth (Gukmul Tteokbokki)
    떡에 양념이 잘 배지 않은 것 같아요. 맛은 그럭저럭 먹을 만했어요.
    The rice cakes were soaked in a spicy sauce, but the seasoning didn’t seem to soak in fully. It was okay, not amazing.

    꿔바로우 : Guoba Rou (Crispy Sweet & Sour Pork)
    이건 좀 아쉬웠어요. 너무 딱딱하고 차갑게 나와서 바삭함이 전혀 없었어요.
    This one was disappointing. It was too hard and served cold, so it lost that nice crispy texture.

    시래기된장지짐 : Dried Radish Greens with Doenjang (Siraegi Doenjang-jjim)
    나이를 먹어서 그런가 시래기를 점점 더 좋아하게 되네요. 된장과 함께 조리하니 깊은 맛이 나서 위안이 돼요.
    I’ve been loving siraegi (dried radish greens) more as I get older. It has such a deep, comforting flavor when cooked with fermented soybean paste.

    모듬사라다 : Assorted Salad (Modeum Salad)
    무슨 소스를 사용했는지 모르겠지만 맛은 정말 좋았어요. 상큼하고 가벼웠어요.
    Not sure what dressing they used, but it tasted really good — fresh and light.

    돈나물초고추장무침 : Money Plant Leaves with Gochujang (Donnamul Cho-gochujang Muchim)
    오늘 메뉴 중 제일 마음에 들었어요! 살짝 새콤하면서 매콤한 양념이 정말 상큼했어요.
    This was one of my favorites today! The slightly sour and spicy seasoning was super refreshing.

    포기김치 : Pogi Kimchi (Whole Napa Cabbage Kimchi)
    잘 익어서 새콤하고 매콤한 맛이 딱 좋았어요.
    Perfectly aged — tangy, spicy, and just right.

    추가 반찬 : Extra sides
    김, 상추, 쌈장, 계란후라이, 샐러드
    Toasted seaweed (gim), fresh lettuce, ssamjang, a fried egg, and a small salad.

     

    전체적으로 구내식당에서 나오는 전형적인 한식 식판이었어요. 반찬이 다양해서 좋았지만, 몇 가지 메뉴는 아쉬운 점이 있었어요. 그래도 점심시간에 이렇게 따뜻하고 균형 잡힌 한식을 먹을 수 있어서 만족스러웠어요.

    Overall, it was a classic Korean cafeteria lunch tray packed with banchan. Even though a couple of dishes didn’t turn out perfect, I still enjoyed the balance of flavors and the comforting feeling of a proper Korean meal in the middle of the workday.
